blank screen after boot

blank screen after boot

when i load vista beta 2 i am greeted with a blank screen after its booted. i can get the screen to work if i boot in low resolution mode (via F8 at startup), but when i try to change over to a higher resoultion or to 256 colour instead of 8bit i get a blank screen. im running a packard bell c3300 laptop (standard fittings except for increased RAM. any ideas?

if you get a blank screen on a packard bell -
go to packard bell website search for model name and navigate to page click on downloads download the video driver for XP
to install i downloaded on another computer running xp and transfered to vista via usb pen when i booted in safe mode. i guess cd will do the same as usb pen
hope this helps
if you need further help, reply to thread and i'll reply
