DPM server wont boot up after last reboot--blank screen
I just downloaded the free demo version of Acronis Disk Director, followed the instructions, made a bootable disk, clicked on "reboot now" and the screen went blank. Tried to boot from the Acronis bootable disk and a separate MS DOS start-up disk and got nothing. I have a Pentium 4 with XP Home SP1.

Windows XP won't boot correctly
The PC won't boot up now. All I get is a blinking cursor and a blank screen after the blue cloud splash screen. It will boot in safe mode, but I find no errors in CP / System .. While in Safe Mode, I uninstalled IE 4.01 (Start / CP / Add/Remove / Uninstall all IE 4.0. Still, I get a blank screen and blinking

Dual Boot problem
Fwiw, If I attempt the install by booting to the CD.. it stops at the blue screen where it says.. "Setup is starting windows" it never goes any further... If I could just get it back to win2k I would be happy... buy something that is supported and replace this POS HP cluster... their hardware has been a nightmare.

NT hangs on boot after conv. to NTFS
After installing the Celeron 766 (with Slotket), system won't start--no beeps--nothing--just blank screen. Chipset is I440FX on a Biostar M6FTX mobo. This has returned the PC to the situation which existed before I setup the W2K/XP Dual Boot except that now , when the PC boots I dont get the instruction on the black screen about using the F8 key if I need to use the Emergency Boot Process as I did before these events. I can get into the BIOS but don't know what to look for. I get a message to check the signal cable which I've done. I also tried another monitor to be sure
